“You know you’re glowing right?” Emma asks with a giggle.

We’re perched on her bed with pillows all around us with a movie playing on her laptop and lots of gooey, buttery popcorn ready to be devoured. Not that I’m really watching the movie, even if it’s the latest Channing Tatum flick, because between school, interning for my dad’s office, and secretly dating Brad the last few months, I’ve been so busy that the days pass in a blur. In fact, I feel like I’ve barely even seen my roommate, so we planned this girls night with lots of trashy food and a wonderfully trashy movie too.

But I love Emma, and in fact my roomie is the only person I’ve told about my new relationship. I kept it from her for the first couple weeks, but letting the cat out of the bag was inevitable. We’re really good friends, and I felt safe confiding in her. Meanwhile, Channing Tatum rips his shirt off on screen, making us both shriek with joy. Then I laugh and pop a handful of popcorn in my mouth. “I’m not glowing … am I?”

“Oh yes you are, girl,” Emma nods. “There’s some extra special magic surrounding you lately. It’s like your hair is bouncier, your skin is radiant, and I’ve never seen you smile so much, either. Tell me the truth,” she says while waggling her eyebrows making me laugh again. “You and Brad are having a lot of sex, aren’t you? That’s what’s doing it.”

Giggling, I nod even as I feel the rush of heat in my cheeks.

“Yeah, my boyfriend is amazing in bed. I mean, I hooked up with lots of guys before I met him, and thought I was very sensual and knew what I was doing. But Brad? He’s brought making love to a whole new level.”

Emma squeals and leans forward, her eyes wide.

“Holy shit, that’s amazing!” Then her voice drops conspiratorially. “Sex with older men is better, isn’t it? They’ve had time to learn what they’re doing and they treat your body really well.”

I feel myself blushing again, and nod.

“Yeah, they’re experienced and Brad handles my curves like a car aficionado with his favorite Ferrari. It’s wonderful,” I blush as my bottom clenches pleasurably. I’ve been walking around like a lame duck for months now, yet it’s worth it. After all, I want my lover to do whatever he wants to my body, and it feels like we’ve done the entire Kama Sutra and then some by now.

But then my brow wrinkles.

“Wait a minute. Aren’t you with Server, though? The senior with the floppy brown hair? How is that going?”

“Oh no, not anymore.” Emma waves her hand dismissively. “I had to ditch Server because even though he’s technically older, he’s not what I’m looking for. No, he’s like a boy who’s just discovered his first chest hair. When I say older, I mean decades older. That’s what I find attractive.”

I look at her curiously.

“Really? This sounds new and potentially very juicy.
